About Us
We’re a family owned and operated business with deep roots in Las Vegas, where our family has been born and raised for four generations. While the city is world-famous for its bright lights and entertainment, the true jewel of outdoor recreation here is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Just minutes from the Strip, its stunning cliffs, desert trails, and colorful sandstone landscapes are what inspire us to share the beauty of our hometown with others.
Just like the city we’re proud to call home, we believe in world-class hospitality. Our mission is to welcome every guest like family, combining the warmth of Las Vegas hospitality with our love for the outdoors.
Whether you’re visiting from across the globe or exploring close to home, we’re here to share the beauty, peace, and adventure of the desert landscapes we’ve grown up in.

Tony
When I am not hiking, I’m getting ready for a 50 mile bike ride around Lake Mead. Love Mouse’s Tank at Valley of Fire, it’s beautiful and challenging. You will always remember the experience love hikes has to offer.
Sarah
Sarah Geise was born and raised in Wisconsin. She attended Carthage College and studied Geography and Earth Science. In 2017 she moved to Vegas and started hiking with Love Hikes. Her favorite hikes usually involve slot canyons and she also likes to do yoga on her hikes. Fun fact: Sarah has played her violin on the Great Wall of China!

Hey there! I’m a born-and-raised Las Vegas native who knows this desert the back of my hand—and I love showing it off. From the bright lights of the Strip to the secrets of the Mojave Desert and the beauty just beyond the neon, I’m all about giving tours that are fun, laid-back, and full of cool facts you won’t find in a guidebook.
When I’m not out in the middle of nowhere, I’m probably tearing up the track with some AutoCross action or cheering way too loudly for my favorite team—the Indianapolis Colts (yeah, I know… Vegas local, Colts fan… long story).

Casey Huffman
Hi, I'm Casey! My trail name is Vegas, so I wanted to come work in the Las Vegas area for the season. I've thru hiked The Appalachian Trail (2,200 miles from Georgia to Maine), The Pacific Crest Trail (2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada), and lots of other smaller trails, each about 300 miles long. I've hiked at least 7,000 logged miles across the country and in the United Kingdom, and enjoy sharing the love of the hiking community with everyone. I live full time out of my SUV and work different seasonal positions all across the country, and am looking forward to spending this winter showing everyone the majestic nature of the desert!

Halle Homel
A passionate multi-sport adventurer and naturalist. She’s been guiding for four and a half years, and has worked in places like the Tongass National Forest, Yosemite National Park, and Mount Whitney. She considers the deserts of Southern Nevada to be one of her favorite landscapes in the country and loves talking about the rocks and wildlife that call this place home. When she’s not guiding, you can find her climbing rocks, packrafting, or trail running and hiking with her dog.
Chris Meyer
My name is Chris. I have been a certified interpretive tour guide with a Las Vegas tour company and an outings coordinator for a Las Vegas hiking club for over 20 years. I like to venture into the backcountry to explore and learn about the areas I visit. The mountains have a story to tell. I like to explain that message. Adventure is out there...GO!!
Dustin
After leaving behind a career in a cubicle I've been focused on using my love of hiking and climbing as on outlet for travel and adventure. I've spent two summers in Alaska and plan on guiding international in the future. I'm goal focused in life but when I'm taking travelers in my hikes it's all about safety and fun. I love introducing people to my crazy world of rocks and watching people's eyes light up when they discover a new passion of their own.

While we recommend hiking shoes whenever possible, we understand that guests aren’t always able to pack an extra pair of Hike shoes. At a minimum, we recommend an athletic shoe with good quality grip.
